Our Field Technicians work outdoors, utilizing hand tools in a variety of environments. You’ll receive support to build confidence and skills for solving complex technical issues. You’ll also maximize your potential through on‑the‑job training, career self‑progression, the Broadband Apprenticeship Program, and more.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Schedule:
  
  Ability to travel—including during inclement weather—to and from assigned customer premises, company facilities, and other locations as necessary.
• Language:
  Fluent in English.
• Technical skills:
  Proficiency in using computers, software applications, and hand tools.
• Abilities:
  Effective communication, professionalism, time management, organization, critical thinking, responsibility, and reliability.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record within company standards.
• Physical:
  Ability to work across various terrains and weather conditions, safely use weight‑bearing equipment up to 345 lbs, lift up to 75 lbs, climb ladders up to 32 feet, operate a company vehicle, and work outdoors in inclement weather.
