Compensation

Competitive Pay: $33-$38 per hour based on experience and certifications.

What You’ll Do

As a Diesel Technician at Wiers, you will diagnose, evaluate, and repair major components of heavy‑duty trucks and equipment; perform comprehensive DOT inspections and preventive maintenance services; execute electronic repairs and advanced engine diagnostics; maintain quality standards while following all safety protocols; document work accurately and communicate effectively with service advisors; and support team operations while mentoring newer technicians.

What We’re Looking For Experience & Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license (CDL certification preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of diesel technician experience.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Physical capability to perform repairs and lift heavy components.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ASE Certifications (PM, Brakes, Electrical, etc.).
  • Previous dealer experience/OEM certifications.
