Field/Service Technician, Security Systems Installation, Installation Technician
Low-voltage wiring (Cat5, Cat6)
Install and service low‑voltage security systems including CCTV cameras and door access control. This role is hands‑on and field‑based, requiring comfort with tools, heights, and varied job sites (indoor/outdoor).
Responsibilities- Install and mount CCTV cameras, access control devices, and door hardware
- Run and terminate Cat5/Cat6 cabling
- Perform ladder and scissor/boom lift work
- Use hand tools and power drills to mount and secure devices
- Assist with basic system setup, testing, and troubleshooting
- Follow safety practices while working at elevated heights and on job sites
- CCTV / camera installation experience
- Access control or alarm system installation experience
- Low‑voltage wiring (Cat5, Cat6)
- Proficiency with hand tools and drills
- Comfortable working at heights (ladders/lifts)
- Troubleshooting basics
- Experience with Vigilant or Hanwha camera systems
- Prior lift equipment experience (scissor/boom)
- Mechanical aptitude (especially for entry‑level candidates)
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions
- Reliable, team‑oriented individuals
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently in the field
- Primarily local work within Milwaukee County
- Occasional travel to surrounding areas
Contract position based out of Milwaukee, WI.
Pay And BenefitsPay range: $20.00 – $27.00/hr.
