This role focuses on supporting commercial and retail construction projects by bending conduit, pulling cable, and making electrical connections in a safe and efficient manner. You will work on small commercial and retail job sites, assisting with installations, troubleshooting, and light hanging while following all safety procedures and using proper protective equipment.
Responsibilities
- Bend electrical conduit using pipe benders up to 1/2 inch to create accurate turns and routes for wiring.
- Pull electrical cable and wire through conduit and pathways, including lifting and handling wire bundles up to 45 lbs.
- Make electrical connections according to project specifications and basic electrical standards.
- Assist with hanging lights and related electrical fixtures on commercial and retail projects.
- Support cable pulling activities, including setting up pulls, feeding cable, and ensuring proper routing.
- Perform basic troubleshooting on electrical systems and installations as directed.
- Work on small commercial and retail construction sites, primarily in the Milwaukee area.
- Use hand tools and equipment safely and correctly while performing daily tasks.
- Follow all site safety requirements, including wearing a hard hat, steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and safety vest at all times.
- Collaborate with other electricians and trades on site to complete projects on schedule.
Essential Skills
- 1+ years of experience working as an electrician on construction or similar projects.
- 1+ years of experience bending conduit, including using pipe benders up to 1/2 inch.
- 1+ year of experience hanging lights and related electrical fixtures.
- Ability to pull cable and wire safely and efficiently, including lifting up to 45 lbs.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for electrical systems and installations.
- Strong understanding of safe work practices on construction sites.
- Ability to follow directions, read basic instructions, and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working on commercial or retail construction projects.
- Comfort working with pipe benders and other common electrical tools.
- Reliability and punctuality for work on active job sites.
- No formal certifications required for this role.
- No medical monitoring requirements for this position.

Work Environment
This position is based on small commercial and retail construction sites in the Milwaukee area. You will work in active job sites that may include locations such as shopping centers, retail spaces, and similar facilities. Typical tasks include using pipe benders up to 1/2 inch, pulling cable and wire, and installing lights and fixtures.
Personal protective equipment is required at all times, including a hard hat, steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and a safety vest. The environment is construction-focused, with a strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and completing projects efficiently.

This is a Permanent position based out of Milwaukee, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $20.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
