Low Voltage Technician
Trillium Construction is seeking low voltage technicians for a long term project in Glendale, WI that is potentially temp to hire.
Must be able to pull and dress Cat6, terminate data jacks and patch panels, assist with fiber testing (Fluke meter, light source, OTDR familiarity preferred), build out data closets (ladder rack, cable tray, rack installation), and read basic construction prints to identify pathways and installation requirements.
Key responsibilities include identifying and preparing pathways and j-hook supports for new cabling system installation, pulling copper, coaxial and fiber optic cable in various types of environments, building out data closets – install ladder rack, cable trays, data racks and rack-mount equipment, terminating data jacks at station end and install faceplates, routing and dressing Cat6 cables at the rack and terminating at patch panel, testing Cat6 cable installations, and performing basic troubleshooting.
Additionally, assist with testing fiber optic cable with power meter and light source (Fluke), OTDR tester, voltage meter, and other test equipment associated with projects. Read construction prints and identify cabling pathways, maintaining compliance with construction project specifications.

Up to $30

Mon - Fri, 40h+ / week
Qualifications:
1+ years low voltage experience, pre-employment screenings.
