Field Technician - Milwaukee, WI

Responsibilities

• Visit residential customer sites to measure windows, doors, and sliding glass doors as needed.
• Ensure orders meet required installation specifications and that purchase orders include all materials and labor.
• Support the pricing process by providing accurate measurements and assessments for labor and materials.
• Review installation projects and processes with customers.
• Anticipate roadblocks that could impact customer expectations, job costs, or code performance and recommend solutions.
• Execute change order specifications.
• Maintain service parts inventory and equipment.
• Complete service assessments, identifying needed services, materials, and labor for stakeholders.
• Fulfill service appointment specifications.

• Ability to learn and stay proficient with all Window Nation products, installation techniques, and service techniques.
• Maintain proficiency in all tasks of the position.
• Substantive knowledge of product, installation techniques, and construction basics.
• Maintaining a driving record that meets the company’s insurance standards.
• Ability to use an extendable ladder safely to measure windows and perform services.
• Must be able to pass EPA certification and follow EPA regulations.
• Knowledge of local permit, license, historical, and HOA requirements.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 2+ years professional experience measuring replacement windows.
• 2+ years professional experience installing or repairing windows, roofing, siding, and related home improvement projects.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel; experience with customer relationship management systems preferred.
• Capability to navigate various applications on an iPad.
• Customer‑centric mindset.
• Superior time and project management skills.
• Ability to navigate a CRM system (e.g., Sales Force, Dynamics, Microsoft systems).
