NETA Tester

Job Summary

Electrical Testing Technician – $55 to $75 per hour. The position requires 40–50% travel, a typical schedule of Monday to Friday with rotating weekly assignments, and the use of company vehicles to reach job sites. A relocation package is available if needed.

• Perform electrical acceptance and maintenance testing.
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot power systems, including switch gear, transformers, and circuit breakers.
• Collect data from electrical equipment.
• Ensure equipment and systems are safe and reliable according to NETA standards.
• Conduct start‑up procedures for new electrical equipment.

• NETA level 2 or 3 certification.
• Strong understanding of electrical theory, testing equipment (multimeters, insulation resistance testers), and electrical safety procedures.
• Familiarity with NETA, NEC, OSHA, and NFPA standards.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving abilities, and good communication skills.
