Construction Entry-Level

We are looking for individuals eager to grow in a supportive environment. AMCSI provides a launching pad for your career with full benefits, strong pay, and opportunities to advance quickly. Many of our carpenters with no experience advance to mid‑level in 2‑6 months.

We hire based on personality and team spirit, not portfolio. Successful candidates pass rigorous pre‑employment testing and receive paid, classroom‑based training combined with on‑the‑job instruction. You’ll gain experience on a wide variety of residential and commercial projects across Southeast Wisconsin.

Our team works through winter and always has new projects, offering great job stability. A strong beginner can move to a mid‑level position in as little as two months. After four years of apprenticeship, many achieve nearly $50,000 per year while avoiding traditional college debt.

Our apprentice‑style program includes classroom sessions and one‑on‑one coaching from seasoned carpenters, ensuring you develop the skills needed to become a professional technician.

Baseline Responsibilities:

• Interpret blueprints and plans.
• Assemble the framework using fasteners.
• Verify work meets specifications and complies with codes.
• Maintain a tidy worksite and handle waste disposal.
• Troubleshoot and make necessary repairs or adjustments.
