Service Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Calls on customers as assigned by Service Manager or General Manager to investigate operating difficulties of equipment, diagnosing problems and determining the required corrections.
• Makes repairs or adjustments to equipment to return it to working order.
• Cleans and maintains equipment on site, including exchanging decanters and cleaning brewers.
• Documents work, verifies completion of calls, handles invoicing, asset verification, and any required customer documentation.
• Repairs and refurbishes equipment and maintains spare part inventory.
• Accurately records completed work using the company‑provided mobile device.
• Maintains a positive, professional relationship with customers to support the company’s image.
• Performs scheduled and unscheduled service activities, including emergency service calls, preventative maintenance, surveys, and installations.
• Maintains the service area and vehicle in a clean, organized condition, follows company safety guidelines, and operates the vehicle safely.
• Completes the weekly Driver Report and adheres to the Fleet Manual guidelines.
• Follows all safety standards and policies set by manufacturers and the company.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Solid understanding of repairing small electrical appliances.
• Willingness to learn how to connect equipment to water sources, add lines, and handle drainage when required.
• Willingness to learn how to work with copper, braided, and PEX lines; experience in equipment service operations or vocational training is preferred.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Acceptable driving record and a qualified driver’s license.
• Physical demands may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or personal protective equipment (PPE).
