Fast Facts Cost: 100% free to U.S. Military Veterans and transitioning Service Members Duration: 11 weeks
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (includes a one‑hour lunch)
Training Wage: $12/hour Housing:
Cambria Hotel (Downtown Milwaukee)
Transportation:
Shuttle service to/from training Monday–Friday
Location:
Rockwell Automation Global Headquarters, Milwaukee, WI Learning Mix: ~70% hands‑on lab + scenario‑based exercises, ~30% classroom

Integrated hiring process with program‑affiliated manufacturing partners for roles aligned to the curriculum

Company‑issued computer with training software
Daily Expectations Be present, prepared, and punctual.
Participate in all lectures, labs, coaching, and evaluations.
Complete assigned exercises, projects, and practical/written assessments.
Adhere to safety guidelines at housing and training sites.
Collaborate in individual and team‑based problem solving.
Demonstrate steady progress in technical competence.
Physical Demands Sustained sitting/standing during class and lab sessions.
Handling small components, tools, and test equipment.
Ability to lift 50 lbs throughout the day.
Basic QualificationsU.S. military veteran or transitioning service member with favorable standing or discharge (Honorable or General under Honorable Conditions)
DD‑214 required to verify service and discharge status
Willingness and ability to relocate anywhere in the U.S. for job placement with program‑affiliated manufacturing partners
Technical experience gained in service or in a civilian role
Preferred Qualifications 3‑phase power experience
Industrial electrical work with medium to high voltage (typically 208v, 240v, 277v, 480v, and above)
Background in troubleshooting/maintaining industrial systems and equipment
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to quickly absorb new technical concepts
Strong computer aptitude
