Reliable Electric and Lighting is hiring a Commercial Service Electrician in the Milwaukee area. This is a full-time, year-round service position for an experienced electrician who is comfortable working independently, interacting with customers, troubleshooting electrical problems, and completing commercial service calls.

As a Commercial Service Electrician, you will travel to commercial customer locations throughout the Milwaukee area to diagnose and repair electrical and lighting issues. Typical work includes:

• Commercial electrical troubleshooting and repair
• Lighting and lighting control troubleshooting
• Replacing breakers, switches, receptacles, contractors, ballasts, drivers, and other electrical components
• Circuit tracing and diagnosing electrical problems
• Emergency and scheduled service calls
• Minor electrical installations and upgrades
• Completing service documentation and communicating findings
• Providing professional service directly to our customers
• Working independently while having support from our Service Department

We're looking for an electrician who knows the trade and can think through a problem without someone standing over their shoulder. The right person will have:

• Strong commercial electrical experience
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently
• Understanding of commercial electrical systems
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
• Good communication and customer-service skills
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Dependable attendance and a professional attitude
• Ability to use a smartphone/tablet for work orders and communication

Commercial service experience is strongly preferred.

Compensation is $38.00–$46.00 per hour, starting wage is based on your electrical experience, troubleshooting ability, and commercial service background. Experienced commercial service electricians with strong diagnostic skills will be considered at the top end of the range.
