Job Skills / RequirementsLACOSTA is looking to add an experienced Painter to our team in Waukegan, IL.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 1st Shift, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Pay: $23-28 an hour paid weekly DOE (every Friday)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing tasks as assigned by Department Supervisor.
- Apply paint to various surfaces, including: walls, floors, doors, safety poles, and rails
- Scrape, sandpaper, prime, or seal surfaces prior to painting
- Cover surfaces with cloth or plastic to ensure protection
- Make small repairs to fill cracks, holes, and joints with caulk, putty, or other fillers
- Utilize high lifts or ladders when it's needed
- Follow all safety requirements and standards at all times
Requirements:
- Must have Painting / Prepping experience
- Spraying skills are a plus!
- Must have experience with drywall and sheetrock work
- Must be energetic, pleasant & professional
- Strong communication skills
- Understanding of customer service
- Recognize and understand safety signs and building warning systems. Understand safety requirements, understand & meet company handbook expectations.
- Ability to change tasks or assignments outside normal duties.
- Must be comfortable wearing PPE (Hard hat, steel toed shoes, vest, etc)
