Maintenance Technician

Saelens Corporation, under its Diamond Precision brand, is seeking a 1st shift or 3rd shift Maintenance Technician to support our precision metal manufacturing operations. In this role, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility systems, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient equipment performance. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, support equipment installations, and collaborate with production and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair components, parts, and assemblies to support quality production
• Follow safety procedures, including Lockout-Tagout, and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Document maintenance activities in logs or CMMS and communicate status to supervisors
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and performance
• Assist with installation, setup, and commissioning of new machinery and upgrades
• Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics for accurate repairs
