If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are a leading company in the Engineering industry, and we are seeking a Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:
  • Conducting regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
  • Performing preventive maintenance tasks on a variety of equipment, ensuring they are always in optimal working condition.
  • Responding to emergency breakdowns and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborating with the engineering team to understand machinery operation and maintenance requirements.
  • Documenting all maintenance work for record-keeping and future reference.
  • Ensuring all safety protocols and procedures are adhered to during maintenance work.
  • Assisting in the installation of new equipment and machinery.
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability.
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and maintenance techniques.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in the Engineering industry or a similar role.
  • A strong understanding of preventive maintenance techniques and practices.
  • Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A degree or diploma in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Certifications in relevant areas would be an added advantage.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, if required.

This role is responsible for leading mechanical maintenance efforts across motors, conveyors, and production systems while driving safety, efficiency, and performance on the floor.
