Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Fire Protection Inspector to join our Milwaukee, WI team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with at least three years of inspection experience who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality work. You will play a critical role in ensuring fire protection systems operate properly, comply with applicable codes and standards, and help protect what matters most for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems and related life safety equipment in accordance with NFPA standards and local code requirements.
  • Identify system deficiencies and accurately document findings, corrective actions, and recommendations.
  • Complete inspections efficiently and thoroughly while meeting customer expectations and company standards.
  • Provide customers with professional, responsive, and knowledgeable service at every interaction.
  • Maintain detailed electronic inspection reports, timesheets, safety documentation, and related records.
  • Utilize mobile technology and scheduling software to manage assigned inspections and service activities.
  • Review inspection results with customers and clearly explain findings and recommended corrective actions.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional and dependable service.
  • Ensure company vehicles, tools, equipment, and supplies are maintained in safe working condition.
  • Stay current with NFPA codes, industry standards, and emerging fire protection technologies.
  • Support teammates and assist with additional inspection-related activities as needed.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of fire sprinkler inspection experience.
  • Knowledge of applicable NFPA codes and inspection requirements.
  • Experience using mobile devices and electronic inspection reporting systems.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
  • Experience with fire alarm systems and/or fire extinguisher inspections.
  • NICET certifications or the willingness to obtain certification.
  • Additional industry-recognized fire protection certifications.
Certifications & Licenses
  • State of Wisconsin Automatic Fire Sprinkler System Tester License (Required)
  • NICET Certification(s) preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Additional applicable industry certifications are a plus
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working at heights, climbing ladders, operating lifts, and navigating stairs.
