What is the Hoarding Intervention and Treatment Program?

Catholic Charities' Hoarding Intervention and Treatment Program is the only program of its kind in the nation, offering a comprehensive, holistic approach to addressing hoarding disorder. This innovative program provides long‑term support by combining case management, in‑home coaching, therapy, and community collaboration to improve clients' lives. We empower individuals to regain control of their living spaces and enhance their quality of life.

What Will I Do as a Hoarding Case Manager?
  • Collaborate with Home Coaches and Therapists to develop individualized care plans for clients.
  • Conduct client inquiries and in‑home assessments to understand clients' physical, social, and financial needs.
  • Assist clients in accessing essential services, such as Medicare, food assistance, family care, and disability programs.
  • Monitor client progress by evaluating treatment outcomes, advocating for additional resources, and providing personal support during crises.
  • Maintain accurate records by reviewing case notes, logging events, and documenting reports.
  • Ensure quality service delivery by partnering with program staff and external service providers.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
  • Prior experience working with older adults, individuals with disabilities, or people with cognitive, physical, or mental health challenges.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance (liability coverage: $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident).
Salary Range
  • $45,000 - $47,000 DOE
