Children’s Ambassador – Be the First Smile Families See
As a Children’s Ambassador, you’ll be the welcoming face that sets the tone for a safe, supportive, and uplifting experience. This role provides an opportunity to make a lasting impact on children, families, and our community.
What You’ll Do- Welcome visitors with warmth and empathy, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Badge and screen guests according to visitation guidelines and help them navigate the facility.
- Support families by determining destinations and transportation needs.
- Transport patients safely, providing a secure and engaging experience.
- Stock and move wheelchairs, strollers, and carts to maintain accessibility.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- At least one year of customer service experience, including conflict management.
- Understanding of developmental needs across all age groups—from neonatal to adult.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and prioritization skills.
- Confidence and composure in stressful situations, with the ability to diffuse negativity.
- Critical thinking skills to make independent decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Bilingual abilities preferred.
- CPR certification (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers) required within 90 days of hire.
- On-call shift: Required approximately once every two weeks. This is a paid "stand by" shift for illness replacement.
- Weekend availability: Every other weekend is required.
- Holiday rotation: Participation in a holiday rotation is required.

Week 1:
Mon‑Thurs 4pm‑8pm, Sat‑Sun 4pm‑8pm
Week 2:
Tues‑Fri 4pm‑8pm
Week 3:
Mon‑Thurs 4pm‑8pm, Sat‑Sun 4pm‑8pm
Week 4:
Tues‑Fri 4pm‑8pm
