Summary

Bayshore Nursing & Rehab, a leading long-term care facility in Glendale, Wisconsin, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Activity Director to join our team! As an Activity Director, you will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging activities and programs for our residents, promoting a sense of community and improving overall well-being.

Full-time

Develop and implement a comprehensive activity program that meets the needs of our residents, including social, recreational, educational, and therapeutic activities

Coordinate and facilitate activities, including arts and crafts, games, exercise programs, and entertainment events

Collaborate with other departments, including nursing, dietary, and social services, to ensure a holistic approach to resident care

Assess resident needs and preferences to develop targeted programs and activities

Supervise and guide activity assistants, volunteers, and other staff members

Maintain accurate records and reports, including activity logs, attendance records, and resident feedback

Bachelor's degree in a related field

Minimum 2 years of experience as an Activity Director or in a related field

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with multiple priorities

Certification in activity programming or a related field
