Job Description

The FEP Case Manager Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring W-2 families are placed in the most appropriate service tracks based on eligibility and assessed needs. This position provides oversight, guidance, and strategic support to case managers, helping align services with participant goals and improving overall program outcomes.

  • Review service track recommendations to ensure accurate placement based on eligibility criteria and comprehensive needs assessments.
  • Conduct regular staffing reviews with case managers to evaluate service plans and participant progress.
  • Provide expert guidance on service alignment, resource utilization, and barrier mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with W-2 leadership to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for program improvement.
  • Support case managers in developing individualized employment and self-sufficiency plans.
  • Monitor compliance with W-2 program standards, documentation requirements, and performance benchmarks.
  • Facilitate training and mentoring for new and existing case managers.
  • Serve as a liaison between frontline staff and leadership to ensure consistent communication and feedback loops.
  • Uphold confidentiality and ensure adherence to all applicable employment laws and program regulations.
Qualifications

Required

  • Associate’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in case management, workforce development, or W-2 program administration.
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in case management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience in service track development or program evaluation.
  • Familiarity with Wisconsin W-2 program policies and procedures.
  • Bilingual (Spanish or Hmong) a plus.
