- Deliver counseling services to assigned residential and non-residential students focused on personal and social development, career employment, and behavior
- Provide individual and group counseling and crisis intervention to all students
- Provide ongoing structured, scheduled, and documented individual social development, adjustment, career, and personal counseling weekly
- Identify students needing more intensive services and refer them to appropriate services
- Ensure intervention, implementation, and documentation of strategies addressing personal issues, including mental health, medical issues, and English Language Learners
- Conduct Career Management Team meetings
- Ensure appropriate pre-arrival and departure activities
- Engage students and develop initial center and post-center plans and goals
- One year of experience in counseling or related field
- Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited College or University
- Minimum of 15 semester hours of instruction in social services-related instruction
- Valid State Drivers’ License
- Ability to periodically be on-call, work weekends and respond to issues/emergencies at the center
- Ability to work evening hours and periodic weekends
- Ability to travel locally periodically
