Firmware Engineer
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and test embedded software and firmware for a variety of embedded hardware platforms.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in C and C++.
- Build and maintain custom Linux kernels.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to bring up new boards and debug system-level issues.
- Contribute to software architecture and design decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in industry.
- Experience developing real-time embedded systems in C++ or
C. - Experience developing multithreaded firmware using a real-time operating system (RTOS) or POSIX interprocess control (IPC).
- Experience in application and/or driver development under Embedded Linux.
- Demonstrated knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD) and UML.
