Job Summary
Systems Architect - Pega PRPC
Responsibilities- Develop, support, and maintain multiple framework components, including thick-client, web, services, enterprise application integration / service bus, and batch.
- Identify areas for improvement, advancement, and implement changes within the frameworks.
- Provide cross‑functional support for performance issues and application errors.
- Offer both framework‑specific and generic technology stack expertise.
- Help determine root cause of issues with input from operations and application resources.
- Assist in the development of architectural designs that implement Systems Architecture frameworks.
- Guide internal and external resources on appropriate use of these frameworks and technology for project and maintenance support.
- Support Dev Ops release management in an agile and rapidly changing environment.
- Foster execution of an agile release methodology and assist with all aspects of release management for the entire environment.
- Act as a focal point for cross‑functional items enabling development teams to deliver projects and maintenance in an agile manner.
- Provide deep expertise on agile methodologies, ensuring separation of duties and identifying cross‑functional needs with recommendations.
- Coordinate day‑to‑day activities with team members, leads, and mentors; manage release planning and off‑cycle efforts; resolve or elevate risks and issues; execute resource planning and time‑tracking processes.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 10+ years of overall IT experience.
- 7+ years of hands‑on development experience in a Pega Infinity / PRPC environment.
- Experience designing and developing enterprise‑scale applications and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, and Graph
QL. - Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
- Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
- Experience with Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) tools.
- Experience writing DB2 and/or Postgre
SQL stored procedures. - Experience working in financial services environments.
- Experience collaborating with offshore development teams.
- Knowledge of Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Pega Cloud deployments.
- Experience using Git, Jenkins, and Terraform.
- Familiarity with Microservices Architecture and Amazon EKS.

- Pay Range:
Approximately $60.00 to $85.00 per hour (final compensation may vary based on factors including background, knowledge, skills, and location). - Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance Plans.
