DUTIESArchitect, develop, and maintain comprehensive end-to-end automation frameworks. Design scalable test suites that integrate directly into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure high-velocity delivery of SaaS features across Merchant POS and Online Ordering platforms. Provide guidance to cross-functional engineering teams on quality standards. Conduct rigorous code reviews for automation scripts, define the “Definition of Done” for backend microservices and React/Next.js frontends, and mentor junior engineers on best practices in modern quality engineering.
Execute a hybrid testing strategy encompassing both manual and automated validation of complex backend microservices and frontend web architectures. Lead the validation of critical third-party and internal API integrations. Direct the quality initiatives for global compliance, ensuring all web applications adhere to ADA/WCAG accessibility standards and financial security protocols. Act as a Tier 3 escalation point for critical production issues, leading the root cause analysis (RCA) for complex software defects.
Define quality gates for emergency hotfixes and collaborate with Product and Program Management to assess risk and certify “Go/No-Go” decisions for major regional software releases.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related field and 4 years in any job title involving software development engineering and testing experience. Prior experience must include: 4 years of end-to-end validation of complex distributed systems, financial platforms, and SaaS architecture; 4 years serving as a technical lead of capacity planning and execution of project delivery; 3 years architecting and implementing automated API testing frameworks using Karate;
3 years validating microservices and data integrity across RESTful service layers; 3 years developing high‑velocity, scalable Web UI automation suites using Cypress; 3 years of API testing and service-level automation using the Karate Framework; 2 years designing and implementing end-to-end (E2E) automation frameworks for web applications; 2 years of quality validation of frontend applications built on React.js and Next.js; and 1 year integrating automated test suites into Dev Ops pipelines to support CI/CD.
