AI Platform Engineer; Part-time

Position: AI Platform Engineer (Part-time)
We are hiring a part-time AI Platform Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

+ Design and develop AI-powered applications and platform capabilities

+ Build backend services, APIs, and integrations using Python

+ Develop data pipelines and application workflows that connect business data to AI solutions

+ Design scalable architecture to support future growth and expansion

+ Implement AI workflows leveraging modern LLM technologies

+ Participate in Agile sprint planning and iterative product development

+ Collaborate with internal development, UX, and analytics teams

Qualifications

+ 5+ years of software engineering, backend engineering, or platform engineering experience

+ Strong Python development experience and Frontend development experence (Vue, React, Nuxt, etc)

+ Experience working with relational databases and data-driven applications

+ Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment

+ Experience working within Agile development teams

+

Experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)

+

Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, Astra, or similar technologies

+

Experience with Snowflake and modern data platforms

+

Experience with building and maintaining data pipelines that connect business data, AI models, and application workflows

This is a Contract position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $85.00/hr.
