- Design and implement Agentic Engineering Frameworks for industrial automation development.
- Define the architecture and integration of agents, skills, workflow orchestration, MCP services, development tools, and reusable libraries.
- Transform domain expertise, engineering procedures, and trusted content into reusable AI-enabled skills.
- Develop methodologies for converting customer standards, strategies, and engineering workflows into agent-executable processes.
- Create reference architectures that promote AI-assisted development, testing, documentation, code generation, validation, and commissioning workflows.
- Advise customers on the development and adoption of enterprise Automation Code Standards.
- Assess existing automation architectures, libraries, engineering workflows, and governance models.
- Define coding guidelines, naming conventions, modular programming practices, testing strategies, and lifecycle management processes.
- Establish reusable architectures and engineering frameworks for PLC, HMI, SCADA, analytics, and digital manufacturing applications.
- Facilitate workshops with customer stakeholders to align standards across engineering teams and teams.
Qualifications:
- You Will Have Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
- Years of Relevant Work Experience Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience in industrial automation, software engineering, or digital manufacturing solutions.
- Experience with automation architectures and industrial software development practices.
- Experience defining coding standards, governance models, and reusable software frameworks.
- Knowledge of software architecture patterns, APIs, microservices, and modern development methodologies.
- Experience leading customer-facing consulting or architecture engagements.
- Experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA, MES, IIoT, and digital manufacturing platforms.
- Experience with AI agents, workflow orchestration frameworks, MCP architectures, and agentic development methodologies.
- Knowledge of cloud-native architectures, containerization, and modern Dev Ops practices.
- Familiarity with code generation, AI-assisted development, testing automation, and model-driven engineering.
- Experience building reusable engineering libraries, templates, frameworks, or accelerators.
- Knowledge of Factory Talk, Logix, Optix, industrial digital twins, and modern automation application platforms.
