The Transportation Planner II (Commodity Specialist Level II) is a more experienced transportation operations role with a focus on international logistics. This position supports global transportation execution, particularly international air and ocean freight, and plays a key role in resolving complex shipment issues across regions.
Team & Reporting- Reports to:
Manager, Transportation Operations – Americas - Part of a global-facing transportation operations team
- Works closely with international planners, carriers, and the client's sites
- Manage and support international transportation operations (air and ocean)
- Resolve complex shipment exceptions and escalations
- Support global shipment tendering and execution
- Partner with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders
- Leverage TMS reporting to proactively identify and address exceptions
- Support rollout and stabilization of Mercury TMS processes
- Provide coverage for international transportation planners as needed
