PositionLogistics Coordinator
Shift1st Shift Monday through Friday 12pm to 8pm and Saturday 2pm to 5pm
Pay$52,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year + OT (Salary non-exempt)
Core ResponsibilitiesThe core responsibilities of this role include scheduling and assigning drivers to delivery routes, coordinating deliveries to meet client deadlines and ensuring compliance with customer requirements, collaborating with customers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations, maintaining a pool of independent contractor drivers and recruiting new contractors as necessary, managing billing and driver settlements daily utilizing eCourier software, preparing and submitting reports for clients and management, attending weekly meetings to review service levels and implement corrective actions when needed, conducting meetings with independent contractors to address performance and concerns, covering open shifts or delivering routes in emergency situations.
Qualifications- Excellent people and communication skills
- Customer service experience (retail and restaurant are a good fit)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)
- Strong ability to multitask, organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in logistics and customer service
- Ability to work On-Call
- Attention to detail and time management skills
