Transport Dispatcher Towing LLC

Position Summary

The Transport Dispatcher is part of the coordination hub for our vehicle transport operations. This role schedules and routes transport drivers for dealer vehicle moves (in-state and out-of-state), prepares transport paperwork including Bills of Lading, and serves as a point of contact for dealer partners. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and can keep multiple moving parts aligned throughout the day.

• Support the Transport Manager with reporting, coverage planning, and workflow
• Create and schedule transport orders for dealer vehicle moves
• Plan efficient loads and routes
• Monitor driver progress, ETAs, and delivery timelines
• Adjust loads and schedules in real time due to delays, breakdowns, or changes
• Prepare and complete Bills of Lading (BOLs) and transport paperwork
• Ensure accurate order details, vehicle information, pickup/drop locations
• Maintain organized transport records
• Handle inbound and outbound calls with dealer partners
• Provide ETAs, status updates, and delivery confirmations
• Resolve issues related to scheduling, delays, or changes in transport needs
• Maintain professional, service-focused communication with dealers
• Provide drivers with clear instructions, load details, and routing info
• Assist drivers with paperwork questions and delivery issues
• Collaborate with towing, dispatch, and leadership teams when needed

• Experience in vehicle transport, towing, or logistics
• Strong multitasking and time management skills
• Ability to stay calm and make decisions quickly in fast-moving situations
• Clear, professional communication with both drivers and dealers
• Strong attention to detail for documentation and load accuracy
• Familiarity with Bills of Lading (BOLs) or freight documentation
• Skilled in routing, carrier coordination, and cost optimization
• Valid driver’s license
