CDL Driver

AMSOIL is now hiring a CDL Truck Driver! As a Truck Driver, you will start your day at our warehouse located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and make deliveries ending your day back at the warehouse. You will be responsible for transporting cargo in an 18-to-24-foot commercial vehicle and/or tractor with 46-to-54-foot trailer or bulk tanker to various customers in a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities also include handling packages, order accuracy assurance, and occasional order pick up and return.

• Perform safety checks of brakes, steering column, lights, and mirrors prior to each leg of journey to ensure road readiness.
• Load & offload of bulk materials.
• Load & offload of package materials.
• Assist in unloading cargo when delivery sites are understaffed, maintaining product quality throughout conveyance.
• Work within ERP system to complete order shipments.
• Provide customer service when delivering products and comply with customer procedures while onsite.
• Additional responsibilities include helping manufacturing when driving responsibilities are completed for the day.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Class A CDL with tanker & hazmat endorsement (or Class B and willing to get Class
  
  A)
• Able to be insurable
• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating a commercial vehicle
• Able to read and comprehend written and oral instructions including safety rules, operating procedures, batch recipes and material identification
• Able to walk and stand for long periods of time
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills
• Available 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday during normal business hour

• Pay Type – Hourly
• Pay - $28.74/hour
