Delivery Driver

Role Description

The Delivery Driver is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Milwaukee, WI, responsible for safely transporting baked goods from the bakery to local customers, retail partners, and other delivery locations. Day‑to‑day tasks include loading and unloading products, verifying orders and delivery documents, ensuring products are handled with care to maintain quality, and following assigned delivery routes and schedules. The Delivery Driver interacts with customers at delivery sites, providing courteous service, answering basic questions, and resolving minor delivery issues.

Additional responsibilities include performing basic vehicle safety checks, reporting maintenance needs, maintaining cleanliness of the delivery vehicle, and assisting with product handling or packaging in the bakery as needed. The role requires punctuality, reliability, and a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

• Strong Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients, handle questions, and represent the bakery positively at delivery locations.
• Ability to support Sales and Food & Beverage needs by understanding product offerings, presenting orders accurately, and assisting with basic product inquiries.
• Capability to follow Training and safety guidelines, including learning delivery procedures, food handling practices, and company policies.
• Experience or willingness to learn basic material handling practices;
  Forklift Operation experience is a plus where applicable and if required for certain loading areas.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to operate a delivery vehicle safely.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move bakery products and trays repeatedly throughout the shift; comfortable working on feet for extended periods.
• Strong time management, route‑following, and organizational skills, with attention to detail when checking orders and delivery documentation.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support bakery operations.
