Midwest Refrigerated Services is a full-service 3PL company providing refrigerated logistics services for the food industry. Based in Milwaukee, WI, we operate the largest fresh 48 state LTL consolidation pool with more than 100+ trucks, and offer multiple sites with cooler, and air-conditioned storage, distribution and cross-docking services. We operate refrigerated and non-refrigerated warehouses for storage needs but also Value Added Services such as specialty packing, kitting and fulfillment needs.

This position must possess and maintain a valid Class "A" Commercial Driver License for at least 2 years. Qualify meeting the requirements of a Federal Medical Card and the fit for duty standards. Be able to operate all facets of tractor / trailer combination equipment in a satisfactory and safe manner. Possess strong communication abilities to interface with customers and the public representing the company in a positive and professional manner.

Operate Class A tractor-trailer combinations safely and professionally while delivering freight.

• Average Pay: $23.00/hour
• Overtime:
  Paid after 40 hours (averages 20-40 hours/week)

Schedule & Route

• Home Time:
  Home Daily
• Schedule:
  
  2-3 days per week as needed
• Start Time:
  Day shift (typically 2:00 AM - 7:00 AM)
• Route: 2-6 stops daily, within a 250-mile radius of Milwaukee
• Freight:
  No touch, drop and hook, or live unloads (utilizing lumpers)

Requirements

• License:
  Valid Class A CDL for at least 2 years
• Medical:
  Federal Medical Card and Fit for Duty clearance
• Experience:
  
  Satisfactory experience or training in interstate Class A commercial vehicle operation
• Physical:
  Able to bend, twist, climb in and out of equipment, and withstand irregular weather/rest cycles
