We are currently on the lookout for an experienced supervisor to join our elite team in Milwaukee, WI. As a key member, you will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.
CBA Position Starting pay $27.00 per hour
Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement

- Respond to changing needs of the Streetcar regarding coverage of operations, such as emergency situations, vehicle replacement and repair, re-routing, delays, and detours.
- Assist and schedule for appropriate shifts, routes, special runs, and services as necessary.
- Coordinate with internal departments and other entities regarding incidents, accidents, emergencies, road conditions, adverse weather, detours, and schedule changes.
- Coordinate and direct extra service, special events and other projects as assigned.
- Accurately record and maintain events and activities in appropriate systems.
- Notify upper‑level managerial personnel regarding operational problems; offer solutions and coordinate efforts for resolution.
- Take every reasonable precaution to ensure the protection of employees, contractors, volunteers, patrons and the public; identify and inform personnel of hazards.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures and report health and safety concerns in a timely manner.
- Use initiative and judgment to prioritize and handle sensitive and confidential requests and inquiries.
- Occasionally operate Streetcar in revenue service.
- Guide and train other employees on proper procedures and protocols of the Streetcar, providing technical assistance as needed.
- Perform multiple tasks simultaneously, take appropriate action in stressful situations and remain calm.
- Direct and supervise field Streetcar vehicle status at all times to ensure safety of employees during accidents, hazardous incidents, fire, traffic control, pursuits, etc.
- Contact utility companies to resolve or report problems such as power failures, tree falling, and make emergency contact with law enforcement as needed.
- Initiate collision reporting and participate in accident investigations when required.
- Supervise and monitor to ensure federal, state and company safety compliance; take corrective disciplinary action as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Uphold company policies and procedures rigorously, including seat belt enforcement, emergency response preparedness and regulatory compliance.

- 21 years or older
- Valid state driver’s license
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed
- Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable
- Two to four years of related work experience as a Transit Supervisor, communications dispatcher or similar; preferably in a transit, transportation or logistics environment.
- Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions; 100% of the job is performed outside, often alone and in remote locations.
- Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk long distances and on varied terrain.
- Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds; lift up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; bend, kneel or crouch to pick up items at ground level.
- Withstand heavy traffic areas and tolerate exposure to dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
