Straight Truck Driver

• Deliver items to their intended destination in a timely and professional manner.
• Pickup and deliver packages from the sender to the recipient.
• Follow a specific route within the delivery area.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations; ensure the safety of packages, especially frozen or perishable items.
• Communicate with dispatchers, drivers, and other team members; provide customer service to clients.
• Complete paperwork related to deliveries and reports as required.
• Perform basic truck maintenance such as refueling and visual inspections.
• Collect payments from customers when required.
• Report any delivery issues or concerns to supervisor or relevant parties including Safety Director, HR Director, law enforcement, etc.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be a legal resident of the United States.
• Must have a valid driver's license that is in good standing and a safe driving record.
• Must pass and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and adhere to standards.
• Must pass and adhere to criminal background standards.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Medical Examiner’s Certificate (Fed Med card).
• Pallet jack experience preferred; forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain pallet jack and forklift certification.
• Adhere to post-accident drug testing requirements.
• Must be able to drive in all-weather conditions (rain, snow, ice, etc.).
• Must be able and willing to maneuver up to 50 lbs. regularly and 150 lbs. occasionally.
• Must be able and willing to kneel, squat, climb ladders/stairs.
• Must be able to drive for extended periods of time.

• Less than 1 year.

• Occasional (0-33%)/Frequent (34-66%)/Continuous (67-100%) computer use.
• Written and verbal communication – continuous.
• Reasoning, math and language – continuous.
