CDL A Local Drivers

Job Details

Intermodal Account. W-2 account. Must live within 35 miles of Racine WI. Monday - Friday. Start Time: 1300 (1:00 PM).

Compensation: 0.48 CPM for new drivers. CPM increases 0.01 per year up to 0.55. 100% no-touch. $65 for live load by customer (~20% live load). $40 for drop & hook at customer (~80%). $25 extra per Hazmat load. $30 extra per Refrigerated load. $15 for any empty move and $23–$55 for crosstown drop depending on ramp distance. $20/hr rail delay after 1 hour wait;

$20/hr after 1.5 hour wait; then $25/hr after the 1st hour.

Training:
Ramp specific training after orientation lasts at least 5 full days for new hires. Training pay is $250 per day.

• 100% no touch!
• Hazmat is required within 90 days of hire.
  • If obtained after hire, account will reimburse. Driver must provide paperwork.
• Drivers will go to Chicago rail yards daily.
• Drivers could potentially have option to transfer to a more desirable shift after 6 months.

Average weekly pay: $1500.

Sign on bonus: $5000.

• 3 months Class A experience with a 53 foot trailer.
• Clean MVR.
• Clean background.
• No SAP drivers.
• Must be able to pass a hair and urine drug test.
