Drives a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate local, over-the-road, shuttle, and overnight routes to deliver and unload food and related products to customers in a safe and timely manner;
Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally;
Performs pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and reports any issues;
Parses and completes required freight paperwork and maintains logs in accordance with DOT and company policies;
Unloads freight, verifies delivery with customers, collects payments where required, and secures equipment and trailers after deliveries
