Weekend Medical Driver - Milwaukee, WI (Part Time)

Saturday and Sunday 12:00pm - 8:00pm. Shift differential: +$1/hour (total $16/hr).

• Drive a company-owned vehicle, safely transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail and related materials.
• Operate a hand‑held scanning device to accurately track items through the transportation cycle.
• Strictly observe operating policies, procedures, and service schedules.
• Maintain a professional image to clients and the public through appearance and interaction.
• Load and unload company vehicles with appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Conduct pre/post‑trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, neat and orderly vehicle.
• Adapt to route changes and perform duties across all assigned routes.
• Collaborate with teammates and clients, demonstrating teamwork, cooperation and adaptability.
• Build and nurture a collaborative Med Speed team culture.

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity with working with and adapting to technology.
• Ability to follow procedures closely.
• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.
• Pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen.
• Operate company vehicles equipped with dashcam recording systems; understand that video will be captured in compliance with laws and company policies.
• Drive a non‑commercial vehicle throughout the shift on various roads and in varying weather conditions.
• Excellent driving history.
• Proof of COVID‑19 vaccination (depending on location and local mandates).
• Ability to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Handle varying item weights and physical demands required by drop‑off and pick‑up responsibilities.
• Lift items off storage racks.
• Comfortable walking long distances and standing for long periods of time.
