Position: Warehouse Worker 21/hr

Warehouse Worker

This Warehouse Worker role serves as a critical link between the Assembly and Coating departments, ensuring materials move efficiently and accurately through the facility. You will coordinate, gather, and organize materials, perform inventory‑related tasks using computer systems and RF scanners, and operate material handling equipment to support smooth production flow.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Assembly and Coating departments by coordinating material flow and communication.
  • Walk frequently between departments to gather, deliver, and organize materials needed for production.
  • Use a pallet jack to move materials and pallets safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
  • Operate RF scanners to track inventory movements and maintain accurate stock records.
  • Perform inventory adjustments in computer systems to reflect real‑time stock levels and transactions.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Support packing and general warehouse tasks as needed to maintain organized and efficient operations.
  • Learn and follow all safety procedures related to material handling and warehouse operations.
  • Potentially operate a forklift after being hired directly and completing any required training and certification.
Essential Skills
  • Experience working in a warehouse environment.
  • Hands‑on experience with pallet jack operation.
  • Ability to perform inventory tasks, including stock handling and basic inventory control.
  • Familiarity with RF scanning devices for tracking inventory.
  • Ability to use computer systems to perform inventory adjustments and updates.

    Capability to perform frequent walking and physical activity throughout the shift.
  • Attention to detail when handling materials and recording inventory data.
  • Commitment to following safety procedures and warehouse best practices.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience operating a forklift or willingness to learn and operate a forklift after direct hire.
  • Comfort working with both manual and computer‑based inventory processes.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage materials for multiple departments.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $21.00 per hour.
