Warehouse Administrator Position Summary
The Warehouse Administrator supports daily warehouse operations by processing orders, maintaining system data, coordinating communications, and providing administrative support to warehouse, transportation, and customer service teams. This role helps ensure customer orders are processed accurately and warehouse operations run efficiently.
Pay: $19.00/hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Order Processing & Administrative Support- Review customer service emails and forward requests to the appropriate departments.
- Process and release customer and transfer orders through warehouse systems.
- Print pick tickets and release work to warehouse associates through the Vocollect system.
- Monitor order flow throughout the day and release additional work as needed to support operational productivity.
- Review shipment information and assist with shipping-related research and inquiries.
- Support order tracking, status updates, and issue resolution.
- Complete shift closeout activities and communicate priority items to incoming staff and supervisors.
- Monitor order queues and daily workload to help maintain efficient warehouse operations.
- Assist with coordinating workflow between warehouse operations, customer service, and transportation teams.
- Review and communicate operational issues from previous shifts.
- Support processing of direct-to-consumer (DTC), transfer, and local route orders.
- Assist with coordinating stock transfers and truckload shipments.
- Complete weekly mileage reporting for the transportation team.
- Support shipment tracking and transportation-related inquiries.
- Maintain office and warehouse supply inventories.
- Perform regular supply checks and place orders as needed.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
- Assist leadership with administrative projects and operational reporting.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must have order picking, electric pallet jack experience.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous administrative, warehouse, logistics, or customer service experience.
- Experience working with warehouse management or order processing systems.
- Familiarity with SAP, Prelude, or similar inventory/order management systems.
- Basic understanding of warehouse and distribution operations.
- Ability to learn warehouse management and order processing systems.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.
- Positive attitude and willingness to support cross-functional teams.
- Work is performed primarily in an office environment within a warehouse facility.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use standard office equipment throughout the workday.
- Occasional travel throughout the warehouse to support operational needs.
