Our Warehouse team members are responsible for receiving materials in the warehouse, loading trucks, and processing inventory.
This position will also serve as a key resource for inventory accuracy initiatives, including cycle counting activities, inventory investigations, and assisting with the planning and execution of annual physical inventories.

Richards Building Supply Co. is currently searching for a  Warehouse Associate  for our  West Allis, WI  Location.

Requirements:
Must be able to continually lift 50-100 lbs. of material throughout the day. Some lifting over 100 lbs. will be required.
Load trucks with material scheduled for the day's deliveries within compliance of securing and distributing weight limits according to DOT regulations.
Providing superior customer service
Double checking all loads for accuracy and ensuring that they are thoroughly secured for delivery
Providing warehouse support including shipping/receiving
Pulling order for walk-in customers
Must have a clean driving record
Perform routine  cycle counts  and investigate inventory discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.

Assist with inventory control processes, including stock verification, adjustments, and location audits.

upport and help coordinate the company's  physical inventory counts , ensuring accurate documentation and reconciliation of inventory variances.

Maintain organized inventory locations and ensure products are properly labeled and stored.

Utilize inventory management systems to record inventory movements and transactions.

Partner with warehouse leadership to identify and resolve inventory issues and improve inventory accuracy.

Qualifications:

High School degree or GED.
Ability to stand, bend, twist, through complete shift.
Forklift experience desired.
Ability to communicate with co-workers, vendors, and customers (verbal and written)
Positive attitude and team player.
Adhering to all safety policies, including wearing safety harness and other required equipment.
Work Monday through Friday and opportunity for overtime during the busy season.
Previous  inventory control, cycle counting, or inventory management experience preferred .

Experience assisting with  physical inventory counts  and inventory reconciliation.

Ability to accurately analyze inventory discrepancies and perform basic inventory reporting.

Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, or inventory software preferred.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining inventory accuracy.
