We’re partnering with a well-established construction organization seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with construction payroll experience, particularly in a union environment, who has hands‑on experience with certified payroll and enjoys working in a detailed, deadline‑driven environment.

• $70,000–$80,000 salary

• Process weekly payroll for union and non‑union employees
• Manage payroll from timekeeping through final processing
• Prepare and submit certified payroll reports
• Review employee timecards and resolve discrepancies
• Interpret union agreements, wage rates, and benefit requirements
• Ensure accurate calculation of wages, deductions, and benefits
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and union payroll requirements
• Reconcile payroll and investigate discrepancies
• Maintain accurate employee and payroll records
• Respond to employee, project team, and union payroll questions
• Assist with payroll reporting, audits, and year‑end processes

• 2+ years of payroll experience
• Construction payroll experience strongly preferred
• Union payroll experience required
• Certified payroll experience required
