Patient Admissions Coordinator
Providence Milwaukie Hospital, Milwaukie, OR.
Job Type: Full-Time / Evening Shift - Wednesday 6pm-4:30am and Thursday - Saturday from 1pm - 11:30pm.
Location: 10150 SE 32nd Ave, Milwaukie, OR.
Pay Range: $19.40 - $29.08 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, overtime, standby/on-call, and bonus opportunities.
Responsibilities: The Registrar is responsible for securing appropriate patient account reimbursement by obtaining complex demographic, insurance and medical information and ensuring this is documented timely and accurately.
Preferred Qualifications:- Associate's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration
- National Certification of CHAA upon hire
- 3 years experience in Patient Access of Business office setting.
- Experience with insurance eligibility systems
- 3 years utilization of medical terminology in job setting
- Knowledge in medical billing codes
- 1 year knowledge of Epic applications
