Master Scheduler

Functional area:

Supply Chain & Sourcing.

Location:

Milwaukie, OR, 97267.

Onsite.

Salary Range: $74,000–$84,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage the master production schedule based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and production capabilities.
  • Align production plans with material availability, labor resources, and equipment capacity.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, production, procurement, and sales teams to ensure schedule feasibility and responsiveness to changes.
  • Monitor execution of the schedule and drive resolution of conflicts, shortages, or delays.
  • Maintain accurate planning parameters and data in ERP/MRP systems.
  • Analyze planning metrics (schedule adherence, capacity utilization, inventory turns) and drive improvements.
  • Support S&OP processes and long-term capacity planning efforts.
  • Lead coordination of production schedules for new product launches or engineering changes.
Knowledge & Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field.
  • Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain in a manufacturing environment.
  • Deep understanding of MRP/ERP systems and planning principles.
  • Strategic planner with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
Skills & Abilities
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across functions and levels.
  • Able to manage competing priorities and maintain schedule integrity in a dynamic environment.
  • Effective at driving alignment across departments and influencing without authority.
