Join Our Team as a QC Line Inspector at Epiroc!The QC Line Inspector performs final inspections of in-process and completed products, following machining or assembly. This position verifies that finished products meet established quality, workmanship, safety, and product requirements before they are approved for next process.
Work TypeThis position will be based onsite at our Milwaukie, OR facility. This job opening is not eligible for immigration/work visa sponsorship.
Shift TimingsThree openings on 1st shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm and 1 opening for Monday to Friday: 3:30 pm - 12:00 am

Responsibilities- Inspect finished products using approved inspection checklists, work instructions, drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Perform visual, functional, and basic dimensional inspections as required.
- Verify that components, hardware, labels, decals, guards, and other required product features are correctly installed.
- Inspect completed products for defects, damage, improper assembly, leaks, loose or missing components, and unacceptable workmanship.
- Use basic inspection and measuring tools, such as tape measures, calipers, gauges, or other approved equipment.
- Record inspection results accurately and maintain required quality documentation.
- Identify, document, and clearly communicate product defects or nonconforming conditions.
- Place nonconforming products on hold and notify the appropriate production or Quality personnel.
- Reinspect products after repairs or corrections have been completed.
- Approve finished products for release when all inspection requirements have been satisfied.
- Communicate recurring defects or quality concerns to the appropriate production and Quality personnel.
- Follow established safety procedures, quality requirements, and company work instructions.
- Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Salary Range:
The salary for this position is between $24.00 and $28.00 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. This range reflects our commitment to fair pay based on skills, experience, and market standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, or quality inspection experience preferred.
- Ability to read and follow inspection checklists, work instructions, and basic drawings or specifications.
- Ability to use basic measuring and inspection tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify visible defects or product inconsistencies.
- Ability to document inspection results accurately.
- Ability to communicate quality concerns clearly and professionally.
- Basic computer and data-entry skills may be required.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Ability to consistently apply established inspection criteria.
- Sound judgment when determining whether a product meets defined quality requirements.
- Ability to work independently while following standardized procedures.
- Ability to maintain objectivity when identifying and reporting defects.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Commitment to product quality and workplace safety.
