Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for an RV Technician role in Milwaukie, OR. Our client is a well-established industry leader in the recreational vehicle sector, known for quality service, expert craftsmanship, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on RV mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and propane systems.
- Inspect RVs for structural, safety, and operational concerns, identifying necessary repairs or upgrades.
- Install, troubleshoot, and service appliances, slide-outs, leveling systems, generators, and auxiliary power systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance including winterization, dewinterization, roof inspections, and system testing.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment in compliance with company and RV industry standards.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders to ensure accurate and efficient repairs.
- Collaborate with service advisors and team members to meet deadlines and exceed customer expectations.
- Accurately document services performed, parts used, and labor hours.
- Test all systems after service to ensure proper operation and safety compliance.
- Promptly report equipment issues, safety hazards, or customer concerns to supervisors.
- High school diploma or equivalent; RV technician certification or related technical training preferred.
- Previous experience as an RV technician, automotive technician, marine technician, or related mechanical role strongly preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various physical positions including kneeling, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of 12V and 120V electrical systems, plumbing systems, and propane systems preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license required; RVIA/RVDA certification is a plus.
