Position Overview
The Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA) Specialist will perform cycle counting duties, including floor pick locations and verifying products in warehouse reserve locations using computers, handheld devices, forms, etc. Other functions may include completing product or lot and date code verifications, auditing paperwork and handling obsolete inventory. This position starts between $23 and $24 per hour (with experience) and works Monday to Friday starting at 8am.
Responsibilities- Conduct accurate cycle count of inventory locations and make system updates as required.
- Research and process problem pallets and unlocated inventory.
- Identify errors and list them on the error log as directed by supervisor.
- Validate dating of products in the warehouse and update as required.
- Perform daily audit of inbound receiving.
- Identify and complete root‑cause research of variances and report errors to Operations partners.
- Respond to buyer requests for item checks and internal code-to-code transfers in the warehouse.
- Coordinate handling of obsolete and at‑risk inventory (vendor returns, donations, recalls) – include identifying, communicating, adjusting and validating products.
- Research and resolve inventory variances.
- Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
May be required to stand, walk, bend, reach, pull, stoop, grip, carry, and lift objects from 20lbs to 60lbs. Must be able to work to the end of shift, including overtime, and assist other departments based on business needs.
Working EnvironmentWarehouse:

Grocery (50°F to 90°F).
Continually standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift; walking 6‑12 miles per day on various surfaces; frequently lifting products weighing 1‑60 lbs or more; lifting products from floor to overhead; working on multiple levels of varying height; safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools.
Qualifications- General Equivalency Diploma – General Studies or High School Diploma – General Studies.
- Shift: 1st Shift (United States of America).
- 2‑5 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
