Job Description

Our organization works with partner companies to source qualified talent for their open roles. This position is available to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers. Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Project Manager for our Fibrebond engineering team based at our manufacturing campus in Minden, LA. Relocation assistance is available to candidates currently residing in the United States.

This role is responsible for managing multiple projects associated with power distribution or other related industries from point of sale to delivery. The successful candidate will be the Customer’s single in‑house contact for all related tasks associated with the project and will assume responsibility for all aspects of project execution. The expected annual salary range for this role is $71,000 – $105,000 per year.

Fibrebond, an Eaton company, designs and manufactures pre‑integrated modular buildings and power enclosures that protect mission‑critical equipment for data center, industrial, utility, and communications customers. Headquartered in Minden, Louisiana, Fibrebond is known for its engineered‑to‑order solutions that support complex infrastructure projects across North America.

What You’ll Do
  • Support communication with customers and their representatives, providing updates and relaying information to internal teams.
  • Assist in coordinating assigned projects to ensure production runs smoothly and meets customer expectations.
  • Track project scope, including documenting changes and supporting the processing of change orders.
  • Work closely with Engineering to support project design efforts and confirm alignment with customer requirements.
  • Enter and maintain project‑related information, including sales orders and engineering jobs, within the ERP system.
  • Prepare and update project status reports and distribute updates to internal stakeholders and customers as needed.
  • Assist in developing long‑lead bills of materials (BOMs) and coordinate with purchasing to support timely material ordering.
  • Coordinate with production, installation, transportation, and field service teams to support project schedules and delivery requirements.
  • Liaise with the Quality Control team to schedule inspections throughout the production process.
  • Assist in reviewing minor quality issues and escalating concerns as appropriate.
  • Support verification of project data in the ERP system prior to billing and assist with entering job change orders (JCOs).
  • Log and track post‑shipment service calls in the ERP system and ensure proper distribution to relevant teams.
  • Assist in assembling and preparing submittal documentation for customers.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to track drawing requirements and support adherence to project timelines.
  • Help develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring updates are communicated to stakeholders.
  • Assist in coordinating warranty‑related service requests to support timely resolution.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Ability to read and understand building drawings, site plans, building and equipment layouts, foundation drawings, customer specifications, etc.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in electrical or mechanical engineering, or construction management, or construction technology from an accredited college or university.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project scheduling.
  • One (1) year of building construction or building manufacturing experience.
  • PMP Certification.
  • One year of experience with Lean or Six Sigma projects and implementation.

  • Ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to customers, employees, and leadership at all levels of the organization.
