Job Overview
Full Time (7pm-7am) Registered Nurse (RN) in the Psychiatric/Behavioral Health department at Minden Medical Center, Minden, LA. Provide compassionate care to patients with mental health needs in a state‑of‑the‑art facility.
Daily Responsibilities- Conduct patient assessments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team
- Administer medications
- Implement individualized care plans
- Ensure safety and well‑being of patients
- Foster therapeutic environment during 36/48 schedule
- MUST have current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Louisiana.
- MUST have CPR certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy and compassion for patients with mental health conditions.
- Detail‑oriented and capable of making quick and accurate decisions in critical situations.
- Adaptability and resilience in dynamic psychiatric nursing environment.
