The State of Louisiana is hiring for positions focused on coordinating management of aquatic plants in Lake Bistineau and surrounding areas. Ideal candidates should possess a background in biological sciences and exhibit strong skills in data management, teamwork, and vessel operation.
Responsibilities include conducting aquatic herbicide applications, data analysis, and overseeing contractor activities. The successful candidate must be highly motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Positions may be filled as Biologist 1, 2, or 3 based on qualifications.
