Security Guard - Night Shift off

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Security Guard – Night Shift (7 on, 7 off) to join our Fibrebond team in Minden, LA.

The position is overnight, modified schedule from 6pm to 6am with a 7‑on, 7‑off cycle; 6‑hour shift on Thursday, 12‑hour shifts Friday through Wednesday, then off.

Hourly rate: $18.15 per hour. Salary may vary based on skills, experience, and market considerations.

• Monitor the Fibrebond campus to ensure overall security.
• Complete assigned post orders on a 7‑day rotation with 12‑hour shifts.
• Patrol all buildings, parking lots, and grounds to prevent damage or loss.
• Maintain detailed logs and produce incident reports as required.
• Provide courteous, professional customer‑service level security to anyone entering the campus.
• Respond to incidents and handle unruly guests or visitors in a calm, professional manner.
• Monitor egress points, conduct random rounds on foot and in a vehicle, and operate camera, access control and alarm systems.
• Check doors, windows and access gates to ensure security.
• Monitor systems for fire, flood or other facility damage.
• Maintain daily guardhouse housekeeping.
• Perform other work‑related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be within 50‑mile radius of the work location (active‑Duty military service members exempt).
• Must be willing to work extended shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in security functions or physical access control.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Physical fitness, mental alertness, and emotional stability for emergency response.
• Ability to sit for long periods, walk or stand, and work in all weather conditions.
• Capability to drive a vehicle if required, and climb stairs or ladders with or without accommodations.
• Ability to patrol in dark conditions and lift up to 50lbs with or without accommodations.
• Proficiency with computers, cameras, access controls and alarm systems.
• Maintain alertness during 12‑hour shifts on a 7‑day rotation.
