Final Punch Technician
Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Final Punch Technician to join our Fibrebond team in Minden, LA. The average work week is 54 hours, with overtime and weekend shifts, and the hourly range is $16.50‑$18.17 per hour. Salaries are based on skills, experience, and market considerations.
What You’ll DoThe Final Punch Technician is responsible for all aspects of the buildings prior to shipment. They paint and repair any damage, prepare materials for shipping, and use tools such as battery drills, hammer drills, tape measures, generators, and painting equipment.
In This Role, You Will- Inspect exterior of buildings for defects, including general damage and correct installation of exterior components.
- Inspect interior of buildings for defects, including loose bolts, screws, paint, general damage, and correct installation of interior and exterior finishes.
- Arrange for defects or damage to be repaired, including aggregate, door hardware, paint, wave guides, and air‑conditioners.
- Clean all surfaces of interior and exteriors of the building.
- Ensure the overall appearance of the building is presentable for the customer prior to shipment.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Eaton will not provide immigration sponsorship for this position.
- Only candidates within a 50‑mile radius of the work location will be considered, except Active‑Duty Military Service members.
- Prior final inspection experience.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints or drawings.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work overtime when required.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform required physical tasks with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Ability to ascend, descend, and work from a ladder when inspecting and repairing buildings.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions and seasonal temperatures.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of trade secrets.
